Top 10 Animated Heroes

I decided to do these almost on a whim.
Next, I'll do one of my favorite animated villains.

To prevent this list from being all characters from one or two shows, I set some rules for this list:
1. Only one set of characters per show.
2. I need to have seen almost every episode of the show they appeared in, so I can't include characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, unfortunately.

I'll add explanations to this later, and when I do, I'll remove this sentence.

Anyways, onto the list:

9. Danny Phantom

8. Korra
Yes, I do like Legend of Korra.
The reason she's on here is that she's actually done a bit more than Aang did. She defeated about four villains on her own in 52 episodes, while it took Aang 61 episodes to defeat one. Granted that one villain was a maniac who wanted to rule the entire world, but still.
Korra is also arguably more powerful than Aang. She could go into the Avatar state at will and she could metalbend.
The reason she's one slot below Aang is because she's not as fun loving as him.

7. Aang
I'll be honest: I didn't watch the series when it first aired. There were only two episodes that I saw when they aired on TV at all, and only in reruns. Those two episodes were The Great Divide and Avatar Aang.
However, despite not watching the whole show until last year, I'll admit that the show is great. I don't like it as much as MLP: FiM, but that's mainly because I prefer slice-of-life and comedy to action.
Aang himself is very likable as a character.
His childlike nature early on was the main reason for this.

6. Yami Yugi (I know his name is actually Atem, but we don't find that out until near the very end of the series
Yeah, his win-loss record is pretty ridiculous, but it's more than made up for with his voice actor.
Dan Green definitely made the role his own, and despite the duels ending up longer than they'd probably have lasted in real life due to the high amount of monologues, he had fun being as over-the-top as he could be.

5. Sonic, Sonic X version
Of the four different interpretations of Sonic in TV show format, this is my favorite.
This one reaches the right combination of caring for his friends, his fun-loving care-free attitude, his sneaky actions at times, and some of the funnier moments of the show are his.

4. Jaden Yuki
He's my favorite protagonist in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, and that's for one big reason.
He has the best combination of win-loss record and fun loving.

3. Kirby
I haven't played any Kirby games yet, but I didn't need to in order to put him on the list, since he had his own anime.
He was extremely adorable in it, and giving him a baby-like voice made him even cuter.

2. Panty and Stocking
These two are my new favorite anime protagonists.
This is for several reasons:
1. Stocking's design reminds me a bit of Twilight Sparkle, despite the Japanese version of the show being in production before Friendship is Magic.
2. There are actually moments in the show when the two of them, but especially Stocking, actually look quite adorable.
3. Their powers, turning underwear and stockings into guns and swords respectively, are pretty awesome.
4. Their use of several colorful words is so over-the-top, is actually quite hilarious.
5. They have an awesome transformation sequence, with a catchy tune to go with it.
6. They have arguably the most badass catch phrase ever: Repent You Motherf*****!
 
1. Mane 6 
I was originally going to just put Rainbow Dash on here, since she's my favorite member of the group, but I decided that they all belonged on a list of heroes.
They're all likable in their own ways, even Rarity, who's my least favorite member of the group.
Here's just their biggest accomplishments as a group:
They saved their world from eternal night.
They defeated the God of Chaos.
They helped defeat a G-rated succubus.
They helped defeat an evil king.
They saved the planet from evil vines.
They defeated someone who could literally steal magic.
